Appearance: Kye is a well-built individual, his rather muscled exterior fit for manual labor and activities that involve strength. He has the typical box muscular structure of someone who gathered their strength for work and practical use, rather than for attractiveness or the simple idea of ‘fitness’. He often wears whatever he can throw on that smells clean – usually a short sleeve button-up shirt and jeans, along with steel-toed work boots. He can be seen wearing weighted training clothing when he’s actually practicing martial arts, however. As far as expressions go, a smile is usually found on the attractive young man’s face. He wears his hair short, cut choppily about his head. Luckily, this seems to be in some style these days, and no one really bothers him too much about his self-styled hair cut. While he does have a tail, he often keeps it wrapped about him much like a belt. So far, strangely, no one has really noticed – or they were too polite to have said anything.
Personality: Kye is an easy-going guy. Not much really gets him down, and in fact he could be seen as having an indomitable spirit. He doesn’t take his blessings for granted and knows that he is lucky to simply be alive, and the person he is today. He is a courageous individual, and is not one to back down easily when something important is on the line – that is, if he can be convinced something is important. Sometimes his laid-back nature conflicts with his other personality traits, and he can be seen sometimes as someone who might lay down in an argument. The truth is that he doesn’t really like to argue, and if he can convince himself that the point he’s trying to stand up for is unimportant in the long run, he’ll likely just let the other party have the win. This varies greatly with his martial competitive streak, however – he wants to be the best, to beat the best, no matter what. He often manages to tire himself out during training, even after a hard day of work, just attempting to keep himself completely on the finest fighting edge. He is protective of those he loves, especially his sister, to whom he seems to have a soft spot.
History: Kye was born on the starship Eclectica during its trip to Earth. Five years his sister’s senior, he was trained since the time he could walk to be protective of the family, and to always be an upright Saiyan – never to back down from a true challenge, but also to remember that one should be mindful of the power they held. He watched as their mother grew sick, allergic to a small component in the atmosphere, Neon. They had come to Earth to start a new life, a new family, but as it turned out it was slowly killing the woman that the siblings’ father loved. Unwilling to throw away everything they had worked for, their parents left the two after a mere eight years on the planet. The boy, now the eldest of their family on the planet, took up odd jobs until he was old enough to actually work. As soon as he could, he began manual labor and construction, strengthening his body and tempering his mind so that he could make a better life for his sister, Emi. For his work, Emi was able to go to school, to put her brilliant mind to work for something better than carrying steel beams and working high rises. The boy put his all into providing for their home, into making their world a better place, day by day.
He still works, though has laid off the double shifts since his sister graduated and began her own work. While he still hides them both under the light of the full moon, Kye is grateful that his sister made it through her terrifying first transformation mostly unharmed, and finds a bright hope for the future in both their efforts.
