Tousen - Way of the Glinting Blade [WIP]

Appearance:
With a height of five feet and seven inches and a seemingly too slim body, Tousen does not usually come off as that great of a fighter. And that would likely be true, should one not know that he is a swords master among the greatest currently known and uses speed and flexibility to deliver debilitating cuts. As such his muscles do not take the typical appearance of male fighters in this universe, the whole stereotype of a near godly body with muscles that are bulging doesn't really match up with Tousen's slimmer and more graceful build. Someone once derisively compared his build to that of a ballet dancer and however hurtful the man tried to be it was not that far off, the dancer-like grace in Tousen's movements is definitely there but not a result of any dance other than those of a sword.

To accompany this "ballet dancer's body" is a rather plain face, hardened and made more angular by the training and occasional fasts that he has gone through in order to reach his current level of skill. Yet his facial features seem slightly alien, this being the result of a Konatsian joining his family line about three or four generations ago. So although his features are rather plain, that slight feeling of strangeness makes people think and often go for a second look once they see his face. Tousen has decently tanned skin from the time spent wandering around, ocean green eyes, and straight auburn hair that he keeps in a low and braided ponytail, reaching down to about between his shoulder blades.

In the typical fashion of a martial artist Tousen wears a pair of rather baggy martial art hakama that allow full movement by being so wide that they have to be tightened, typically with tape of some kind, above the ankles. These gi pants are white in colour and held up by the cords inside them that loop around the waist. To this he is donned in a grey-blue kimono jacket, secured with a burgundy red sash. Under all this he has a white under-shirt and boxers. His burgundy red boots are rather thin in how much support they provide his ankles, being made more for flexibility and such, and they end just below where Tousen's hakama are taped down.
