Flashback - Three Years Ago
Emi was out far to the west past the towering tower, a spectacle which defied gravity, logic and reason. As she past it she had wondered how it been built and what was at the top. She would find that out later though. Her trek took her through the forests, full of dominating green leafy trees and interesting wildlife and then through the grassy plains where she encountered a troublesome dinosaur. If she was a normal human she would have been eaten by the angry beast. She however was a full blooded Saiyan and held far more power than the rather large beast held. It charged in towards Emi, gaping maw wide open, razor sharp teeth poised to tear through her body. She stood still, calm and relaxed eyes lightly shut. The beast was almost upon her when she opened her eyes wide trained directly on the dinosaur's own, her power level swelling massively. A shock wave of invisible force seemed to emanate from her body and the dinosaur screeched to a sudden halt with a fearful expression. It had instantly had been given an instinctive schooling, it realised that this small being was far higher than itself in the food chain and that continuing to attempt to make the female a meal would result in its untimely demise. It cowered in awe before it slumped down, unconscious. Emi laughed to herself. Poor thing. She patted the things head as she walked past it towards the coast where she was ultimately headed.
She reached the coastal line in little time from then. She was nonchalantly minding her own business as she walked across the sand when all of a sudden a large blast of energy soared around the beach with her in its path. There was no time to move, Emi extended her hands out to stop the blue beam of concentrated energy from hitting her directly. What the hell was this all of of a sudden? She had no real traction to stop the attack on the sand, that and the energy wave was powerful. Who had fired this thing? She slid backwards as the wave pushed against her with greater intensity, threatening to pass through her to wherever it was headed. It was too much for her though. She could muster the strength to redirect it. Emi's power level increased as her Ki took a boost an aura of white surrounding her. She strained to push it away still, now forced into a corner her back against a cliff face. Now she had little option but to defend her self from the attack through a guard. She focused her energy into her palms pushing against the wave and released a shot of her own. A huge explosion occurred and Emi took a serious amount of damage. Her clothes were ripped and tattered and blood trickled from several cuts from pieces of debris flying like shards of materialised pain. Sent flying backwards her vision blurred as she soared from the ground towards the sea. She vaguely made out the outline of a person flying in the sky hand outstretched in her direction as she fell with a splash into the water where she began to sink. All of a sudden she found herself in the darkness of the water. What the hell was this... all she had been doing was minding her own business and now she was descending down under the sea. A hand grabbed her arm tightly and she found herself pulled out of the water. She hazily opened her eyes and found herself looking up at a distraught young man. She coughed up a mouthful of water and it was the last thing she remembered until she opened her eyes again suddenly energized, after chewing something small, a tablet perhaps?
